KFest 97 Pictures

These are just some pictures for those of you that couldn't make it to this years Kfest. It's my first time here, and I thought it might be nice to give you folks a chance to see what was happening!

Originally, these pages were done very late on the evening (or early in the morning of the next day..) after most of the official KFest events were over, and we were visiting with other participants. Hence, the "unCool" quality of these pages. I just slapped them together. However, since Joe Kohn with Shareware Solutions II and Max Jones with Juiced.GS both mentioning this page, I thought I'd better fancy them up a bit. B-{)

The pictures were taken with a QuickTake 150 that I'd borrowed from my school district, downloaded and converted to GIFs on Jim Blair's PowerPC (the Duo 230 that I'd brought to KFest was just TOO slow), Then transfered to Kevin Thornton's PowerPC (which had an Ethernet card connecting it to the dorm's network) via a Zip disk, and uploaded to my school's Web server.

This page consists of pictures taken on Thursday. The following links were uploaded on their respective evenings. I did make thumbnails of these, but they still take a while to load via modem. Tables were used, but aside from looking nasty with Lynx, are still accessible to GS users. Click on the thumbnails to get the larger version of the GIF.
