Here are some of the players from the Negro Leagues that are in the Hall of fame now. At catcher there is Biz Mackey and Louis Sandtop. The pitchers are Satchel Paige, Bullet Rogan, Dick Redding, Hilton Smith, Ray Brown, and Bill Byrd. At first base there is Ben Taylor and Mules Suttles. At second base there is Bingo DeMoss, Newt Allen and Sammy T. Hughes. At short stop there is Dick Lundy and John Beckwith. At third base there is Jud Wilson and Oliver Marcelle. And last but not least, the outfield. We have Pete Hill, Christobal Torriente, Turkey Stearnes, Spot poles, Bill Wright, and Willard Brown.

Satchel Paige was the closest thing to a legend to ever come out of the Negro Leagues as a pitcher. His real name was Leroy Robert Paige. He was born on July 7, 1906, in Kansas City Missouri. He had a lifetime record of 28-31, an ERA of 3.29, 288 strikouts, and was inducted into the hall of fame in 1971. He died on June 8, 1982, in Kansas City Missouri.
