Symptoms of CMT include progressive muscle weakness in the muscles of the calves, feet, hands and forearms. Also a mild loss of sensation in limbs, fingers, and toes. Balance is usually affected also, due to the foot weakness. There can be bone deformities that can be corrected by surgery. Generally you'll have high arches or very flat feet.
